Irish language classes
Conradh na Gaeilge organises Irish classes in Áras na nGael at different levels adjusting to every learner.
There is a lot of emphasis put on speaking Irish in these courses and the amount of participants in each class is low to make certain that every student can have a great experience.
The Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge syllabus by the National University of Ireland Maynooth shapes the Irish classes. These classes are organised by qualified teachers that have years of experience working with mature learners.
We also arrange summer crash courses and Irish classes targeted to students who want to get a place in primary teaching training colleges.
There will be a course in Áras na nGael beginning on the 22nd/23rd September 2020.
This course involves one class per week and covers primarily conversational Irish and grammar.
There are four different levels for learners with different standards of Irish:
Beginners: This class is for those who are completely new to the language. It is suitable for those from an international background or those who have never had any experience with the language before.
Bunrang: This class would suit those who learned the language at school but who have been away from it for a while and would like to go back and learn the basics of the language again.
Meánrang: This class focusses on those who have a reasonable level of basic Irish and who would like to build on what they have learnt up until now.
Ardrang: This class helps those who have a good level of Irish to improve their langauge skills and to work on their grammar.
